Instapot on left is heavy, hard to clean, takes two hands to take the lid off – one for the lid and the other to scratch your head while wonder what to do with it. The book is more of a puzzle than a guide. Left half the popcorn in the shell, half the yogurt runny. Pressure cooking I decided to leave, more hassle than flavor.
Aroma on the right is light weight and the lid is automatic. Steam, rice, fry, bake and slow cooks, all works, although the slow cooking runs slightly hotter and faster than I’m used to. I wanted more room to steam so I customized a silicone basket which can hold a 6″ cake pan for something I want to thaw, heat and keep the juices.
